The actress was picked by a talent-scout while performing in a college production. The scout advised her to consider pursuing a career in the industry. The actress gained notoriety for her acting skills after appearing on the film "Ryan's Hope". One of her highest acclaimed parts was the portrayal of an exposure victim to chemicals in the cult film "Erin Brockovich". Marg has a busy schedule but still manages to find enough time to engage in charitable work. Every year, she organizes an event with celebrities that fund studies into the breast cancer. Marg's mother is a breast cancer survivor who battled the disease for nearly 27 years.
